UNCHARTED 4- A Thief's End

This review will be quick. There is no reason to linger on this game. It is probably as close to perfect as I've seen in a modern video game. It is certainly no wonder that the new Tomb Raider installations copy the Uncharted formula so closely. This game is a must-play on the PS4. Get it, or sell your PS4 because you aren't getting the best out of it.
The graphics are phenomenal on the PS4 and the controls are perfect. No camera problems, no clunky controls at ANY point in this game. Nauseating heights are reached through climbing and jumping, the shooting combat is rock-solid, there is nothing bad I can say about this game. Solid story and plot, and we get to meet Nathan Drake's brother. But no spoilers here. Supposedly the last one in the franchise. Hmmm… Anyway, all-but perfect game, rare that I give such a score. Get it or sell your PS4, you are not worthy. Never met an Uncharted game I didn't finish, including the one on the Vita.
Uncharted 4- A Thief's End earns a 9.5/10 from me.

CALL OF CTHULU (XBox One Version)

     Before I go into this let me first mention a GOOD H.P Lovecraft-inspired game. It’s called Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem and it was a Nintendo GameCube exclusive. I whooped up on this gem on all three alignments back in the day thinking a fourth one would open up. No such luck. But the feeling of horror and madness sunk in and… it was good.      Now let’s dig into Call of Cthulu (available on multiple platforms, but my version was the Xbox One version). But not too deep. Why? Because it’s not worth spending too much time talking about it.      Sure, I am a Lovecraft fan. So I am biased towards completing a game with those lovable daemonic beings from another dimension looking to turn humanity into a tasty banquet. Shenmue III Review- PS4

I have loved the living hell out of Shenmue since day one. This is because I have PLAYED the living hell out of Shenmue since day one. This is the game franchise that made me like action RPGs. Before Shenmue, text speech was all there was, and the accompanying graphics, well, were 8-bit chibi. Shenmue introduced a style where many or most of the virtual folks you met along your way had at least SOMETHING to say. And they said it. With real voices. It brought a realism to the genre, a quantum leap. Money was spent as well as time. And gold was spun. Shenmue 3 has to be held in comparison with Shenmue 1 and 2, as well as a ghostly sense of what 3 SHOULD be with modern technology and techniques. Being the fan that I am, I think it falls short. Just a bit. Don’t hate me. There is NO reason why EVERY time I go back to a fortune teller, or sales person, or ANYONE like that, that they should begin anew explaining who they are and what they do, and what may result.
